It all sounds very state of the art and sophisticated and credit card holders should know these companies provide a very useful service. The reason why these credit card processing services have popped up is due to the fact that many companies which to sell their wares and services over the Web but do not want to get involved in the actual credit card paying process. They wish to sell but enable another special company to carry out the actual financial transactions for them in regard to credit card use.

It seems almost magical when you really think about it. You access Amazon, click here and there and order two books; fill out your credit card details and you get your books delivered to the doorstep. All this is thanks to the credit card which hasn't been shown to anyone. But we all know that this is not entirely true, because the plastic card is not in itself that important, the core of the credit card is its electronic digital components which are embedded within it. The surprising thing about the consumer market today is that you can still find stores, rather small shops and businesses that still haven't learnt to work with a credit card. It's quite amazing when you consider the opposite side of the equation, which is, that a lot of consumers are walking around with any real cash in their pockets and assume that wherever they purchase they can simply use the credit card. This of course reeks of the millionaire syndrome whereby no millionaire or similar wealthy rank goes around with cash in his or her pocket, because it's cumbersome, dirty and really superfluous when there are credit cards.
